October 1st, 2026 – Vancouver, BC, Canada – Radiant Uranium Corp. (the “Company” or “Radiant Uranium”) (CSE: RUC, OTCQB: RUCCF, FWB: V0O0) provides the following exploration plan for the 2,048 hectare Cross Lake property, lying southwest of the historic Key Lake Mine in northern Saskatchewan.
Radiant Uranium will commence a fully funded ground program to confirm historic exploration results and refine target areas at Cross Lake in advance of diamond drilling planned for 2027 H1.
CROSS LAKE EXPLORATION PROGRAM:
- Phase 1 will consist of ground radiometric surveying and selective short-hole drilling to test for extensions of the mineralized zone and confirm grade;
- Phase 2 will consist of high-definition IP surveying to better define the geometry and extent of mineralization
- Concurrently, Radiant will commence consultation and permitting in advance of the planned 2027 H1 drilling program
- Fully funded Phases 1 and 2 along with consultation and permitting is budgeted at approximately $325,000;
The Cross Lake uranium mineralization is associated with pegmatitic garnetiferous gneiss along a 2.4 km northeast-trending structural lineament, with mineralized zones identified at the Narrows, Portage and Cross uranium showings. Historic work at the Narrows Zone outlined mineralization over a true width of approximately 11 to 15.8 metres, with drilling testing the zone to a depth of about 75 metres. This work resulted in a 1979 historic estimate of 371,038 lbs U3O8 at an average grade of 1.2435 lbs per tonne to a depth of 75 metres.
Clive Massey, Chief Executive Officer of Radiant Uranium, commented: “With Phases 1 and 2 fully funded, our objective is to systematically build on the historical work at Cross Lake and generate the technical information required to refine priority targets for diamond drilling. Historical drilling tested the Narrows Zone to approximately 75 metres depth, while uranium mineralization is associated with a broader 2.4-kilometre structural lineament. The phased approach is designed to evaluate the known mineralization and test its potential extensions in a disciplined manner.”
These historic estimates were disclosed in "Bralorne Resources Limited, 1979 Winter Drilling of the Narrows Zone ML 5255 (Formerly CBS 1074), Foster River Area, Saskatchewan," by Rene Bissonnette and dated May 12, 1979.
The estimate is relevant as it attests to the potential of the Cross Lake property and reliable as it was completed by geologists trained to the standards of the day. The historical estimate author noted that although the drilling was not detailed enough to prove the structure nor to estimate proven reserves, possible reserves based on the grades and thicknesses of the mineralized intersections from the drill holes and the interpreted structure have been conservatively estimated. Each drill intersection is lettered, with a block shown for the better intersections. The dimensions of each block are based on the following parameters: (1) true thickness of the mineralized zone (width): core length of the mineralized section corrected for the dip of the layer and the inclination of the drill hole; (2) length of the mineralized zone (length): one-half the distance between each mineralized intersection on the 50 m plan and five m beyond the last significant mineralized intersection in the zone. As the bottom of the deepest intersection of the best mineralized zone is in drill hole 41-3 at a vertical depth of 71 m, 330,000 tonnes corresponding with a vertical depth of 75 m appear reasonable. The historical estimate would be comparable with an inferred resource. The company is not aware of a more recent historical estimate, though a small drill program in 2008 by Uracan Resources Ltd. did confirm the presence of uranium in the area of the historical estimate. Twinning of a number of holes and infill drilling would be required to move the historical estimate to a current mineral resource.
Radiant Uranium cautions investors a qualified person has not done sufficient work to classify the historical estimate as current mineral resources or mineral reserves, and further cautions Radiant Uranium is not treating the historical estimate as current mineral resources or mineral reserves.
As previously announced, the addition of the Cross Lake Uranium Project reflects the Company’s strategy of building a portfolio with exploration upside in the Athabasca Basin. Radiant Uranium continues to evaluate additional acquisition opportunities while advancing exploration activities across its existing project portfolio.
